We have four types of counselor positions. Please indicate one or two that you feel qualified for and interest you.:

Cabin Specialist - This is just what the name implies. Your specialty is the campers in your cabin. You participate with campers in a variety of daily activities in which you are the catalyst, leader, helper, guide, listener and above all the role model. Experience working with children preferred- the more the better!

Group Leader - This is the essential leadership position in our organizational scheme. You are fully responsible for a "group" of campers (usually 20-30) who live in several cabins. You supervise 3 to 8 staff. Lots of time management, paperwork and "juggling" involved. You must have leadership experience for this position - having supervised staff and groups of people, as well as proven success in communication, discipline, organization, risk management and creative programming.

Activity Specialist - You instruct a specific activity area, such as: athletics, performing arts or fine arts, aquatics or outdoor activities. You must have formal teaching/ coaching experience in the specific activity, as you will be teaching most often on your own. Also, you wear 2 "hats"-- when you are not instructing in your area of expertise, you work with the group with whom you are living. You will be instructing children ages 7-16.

Activity Director - One who leads, supervises and maintains an activity area. Requires high level of expertise, experience making lesson plans, disciplining/ guiding. Must have formal teaching / coaching experience in the activity area, strong organizational skills, be a self-starter and above all, creative! You will be instructing children ages 7-16.
