Andrea and Scott Ralls have dedicated their professional lives to empowering children.
Between them they have more than 45 years teaching and camp experience.
They have owned and directed Southwoods since its beginning, developing it into
the premier 4-week children's camp in the country.

Lauren Hohman - Staffing Coordinator
Lauren was born and raised in the "Bluegrass State" of Kentucky and graduated from Murray State University with a degree in Recreation. Lauren began working at Southwoods in the summer of 2007 as a member of the Trek Staff. In 2008 she worked as the Program Director for Dream Oaks Camp in Florida. In the summer of 2009, Lauren re-joined Southwoods as a member of the program team and stayed on full time to recruit and hire staff. In addition to recruiting staff, Lauren also works on summer program planning. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys playing tennis, watching The Office, traveling and as any true Kentucky girl should, supporting Kentucky Wildcat football and basketball.

Dave Parent - Accountant
Dave was born in Wyoming and raised in Florida. He graduated from the University of West Florida with an Economics & Finance degree. A desire for a change of scenery and a summer job as a bookkeeper at Southwoods soon became a vocation for Dave. He joined the Southwoods team full time in the fall of 2002. During the winter, Dave fills the role of controller including accounting, operations and coordination of off-season special events. In the summer, he also manages our office staff and the booking and coordination of all off camp trips. Dave is an avid golfer, guitar player and Jimmy Buffett fan.

Rachel Albinder - Administrative Assistant, LIT Director
Rachel hails from Long Island, New York, and has been a part of the Southwoods family for 13 years. She came to Southwoods as a camper from 1999 - 2004, and returned in 2008 as a staff member. Rachel has worked as a cabin specialist, group leader, and is currently the director of our LIT Program. She is a graduate of Ithaca College, with a degree in business management, and she's very excited to be a part of the full-time team! Rachel enjoys snowboarding, live music, and a good piece of pizza.

Emily Drucker - Administrative Assistant
Emily is from just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is a recent graduate of the University of South Carolina Honors College, with a degree in Visual Arts. Emily started her Southwoods career as a camper from 1998 - 2002, and returned in 2007 as a staff member. Emily has worked as a cabin specialist, group leader, and an assistant head counselor, and is now enjoying yet another new Southwoods experience in the winter office. Emily loves all things outdoors, and creative arts related.
